God Loves You and Me - Daily Bible Study

Introduction
I have taught about God's love for decades, and I never get tired of it as a subject. This is because the certainty of His love brings a serenity, a life-changing hope, even amazement - to all who hear about it. As I sit here typing out this paragraph, I am struggling with the reality, a friend of my granddaughter has days maybe hours to live because of cancer. Yet, in this sad situation we all have hope - because of God's love. My granddaughter's friend will pass from the pain of this world into the arms of the God Who loves him dearly. I must admit, to write again about God's love is not work for me at all. This is because the remembrance of His love always brings a peace and joy to my life and makes me more determined than ever to love and trust the God Who loves me so much.
Here is some background on my studies on God's love: I wrote a short Bible study called God Loves You and Me, for a Christian organization over two decades ago, and rewrote the study again for them years later. It is posted as a pdf on this website. I also wrote a much longer study on God's love with the same name starting in 2007. It is also posted on this website.
A few years back, I felt God wanted me to take the study and edit it into a daily Bible study called the same, God Loves You and Me. This way people who want to fill their minds with God's love a little each day can. The daily Bible study will have new insights and additional information, as well as more illustrations than my other studies on God's love.
The daily Bible study, God Loves You and Me, will ultimately consist of 60 days organized under twelve sections. Each day covers different ways that God loves you. My commentary on God's love is Bible centered. The illustrations help make the daily themes come alive. It is also being made into a book like my daily devotional, The One True God - His Characteristics and Names. So it will evolve on my website as I put the book together. We will try to keep the revisions current.
This daily study will allow you to meditate on God's love for sixty days, letting you fill your mind daily with the love God has for you through His Word. The more you understand, see and take to heart the steadfast love of God, the more you will want to seek, serve and praise God like King David did:
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you... I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips, when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night; for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me. Psalm 63:1-8 ESV®

I have used numerous Bible passages, so you can understand God's love for you from His words to you. We could say the Bible is God's love letter to you. For room's sake, I have left out some of the quoted Bible passages to make it shorter. So, if you have the time, please re-read the whole passage in your Bible. All the Bible passages are from the English Standard Version (ESV®).
There are questions throughout the study so you can easily apply the information as you read. If you can't answer a question, don't fret but do your best. The Life Application section at the end of each day gives you more information which you can apply to your life, and there is also a verse or two to reflect on at the end. Don't feel like you need to finish each day in a day. Some people have slowly gone through each day taking a week. Do each day at your own pace. The daily study teaches about God's love through His actions, where and in which way His love is found in the Bible, and how to personally and practically apply His love. Please start each devotional asking God to teach you about His love.
The devotional is free to download and copy for those not using it for commercial purposes (see our Copyright Policy). Why free? I feel God wants me to get Biblical materials into women's hands as inexpensively as possible, so more women can have the opportunity to get into God's Word. I keep the price low on my books too for the same reason.
