The Holy Spirit with love

Day 34 - God lives within us - This devotional from God Loves You and Me explains the general teaching of the Holy Spirit in the Old and New Testament. It surveys Jesus’ farewell message in John chapters 13 through 17 with emphasis on the Holy Spirit. It ends with how and when the Holy Spirit gives us life; examining the terms regeneration and renewal from Titus 3:3-7.
Day 35 - The Spirit with love - This devotional from God Loves You and Me defines from the Greek the Holy Spirit as our Helper, Comforter or Counselor, and uses an illustration of a good counselor. It explains in detail Romans 5:5 - that God has poured His love within us through His Spirit. It explains that God sanctifies us through His Spirit and defines the meaning of sanctification. It ends by sharing how the Holy Spirit convinces people of their sin and their need for Jesus, helps us be a witness for God, and how God’s love has waited for us to be His.
Day 36 - The Holy Spirit and God's Word - This devotional from God Loves You and Me examines the Spirit being the author of God’s Word and how that was accomplished. The importance of knowing God’s Word and studying it. It compares Ephesians 5:18 and Colossians 3:16 with being filled by the Spirit along with being filled with God’s Word. It ends with how God’s Word is our guidebook if we let the Spirit lead us from it. It talks about how we need the Spirit to understand God’s words from God’s perspective and to apply those words.
Day 37 - Being filled with the Spirit - This devotional from God Loves You and Me defines what being filled with the Holy Spirit means by using Ephesians 5:18. It uses different illustrations on how to be filled by walking with the Spirit. It examines why and how sin hinders the filling of the Spirit.
Day 38 - The workings of the Spirit - This devotional from God Loves You and Me describes what it means to be sealed with the Spirit, and that the Spirit is our pledge from Ephesians 1:13-14. It gives a beautiful illustration of Jesus’ engagement ring along with Romans 5:5. It ends with Romans 8:1-13 being explained along with an amusing but serious illustration.
Day 39 - Maturity in the Spirit - This devotional from God Loves You and Me talks about the power we have through the Spirit which allows us to accomplish everything God wants us to, even the things that are beyond our normal abilities, and to overcomes even the hardest of trials. From Romans 8:26-29, it describes how the Spirit helps overcome our weaknesses, and He intercedes/prays for us. It ends examining how the Spirit matures us, with some Biblical fundamentals and fascinating illustrations.
